‘4 horsewomen of the apocalypse’: Trump renews attack on ‘Dem Squad’

US President Donald Trump has tweeted out comments made by a Republican senator who branded the ‘squad’ of four freshman Democratic congresswomen who accused him of racism as “the four horsewomen of the apocalypse.”

In a fresh early-morning Tweetstorm, Trump posted verbatim Louisiana Senator John Kennedy’s comments blasting the women as “whack jobs” who are “destroying the Democratic Party.”

Kennedy claimed the group, which includes progressive firebrand New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, think that America “is wicked in its origins” and that Americans are all “racist and evil.”

The Louisiana senator said the women are “entitled to their opinion” but he believes they are “left wing cranks” — even comparing the elected officials to the “directions on a shampoo bottle” which people should “ignore.”

“I’m appalled that so many of our Presidential candidates are falling all over themselves to try to agree with the four horsewomen of the apocalypse,” Kennedy added.

Trump tweeted the comments in apparent agreement with Kennedy amid accusations from the congresswomen that he is “racist.” The four women have fiercely criticized the president over border security policies and a host of other issues, even appearing at times to aggravate some Democratic Party elders with their ferocity, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

In a separate Twitter tirade last weekend, Trump told the members of the so-called ‘squad’ to go back to the “totally broken and crime infested” countries from which they came. Only one of the women, however, was not born in the United States.

House Democrats tabled a resolution on Tuesday condemning Trump for the tweets against the freshman congresswomen, calling his remarks a “blatant racist attack.” Trump said during an event at the White House on Monday that he is not concerned by all the outrage, however, since “many people agree” with him.

He also tweeted on Tuesday denying the allegations of racism, saying that he does not have a “racist bone” in his body.

While I don’t agree with everything these women talk about or represent, the attacks against them remind me of back in the day. When anyone criticizing US government policies in Vietnam (or anywhere) were derided as communists blaming America first and love it or leave it. Well, we were right in demonstrating against a war that took so many American lives and at least 2 million Vietnamese and countless other millions throughout Indochina–but we were the villains for calling the absolutely pointless war fought mainly for the same reasons wars are fought today–to deny political independence of subject peoples and,… Read more »

Yes, Chump is just another member of an oligarchy, another clown put in place, to do bidding’s of these dogs who are driving our world into a war to end all wars, so these bankers, pretend royal families, blood thirsty , power crazed psychotics, can willfully destoy everything, themselves, the rest of society! We are trapped in a race, it appears, to bring this not so human specie into annihilation. It amazes, after living here 72 years, that one has not observed any raising of moral standards, ‘Thou shalt not kill’, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do… Read more »

You need to actually read the bible in context. Neighbors referred to those of your race or tribe. It didn’t extend to foreigners. This was the case for all 3 Abrahamic religions. I haven’t seen a Christian cross in any US state institution or behind any US politician, republican or democrat.

These women are part of the Democratic party, which, at the margin, has a worse trackrecord in military intervention than the Republican party. During the coup ops in Venezuela, AOC was going on about ‘democracy vs authoritarianism’ in that country. An utter lie. Omar flees a country like Somalia, with a huge history in the Islamic slave trade [which is 13 centuries old and still happens in certain parts of the Islamic world], refers to Saudi agents who pulled off 9/11 [with the help of Israel and the Deep State] as “some people did something,” she’s a total fraud. America… Read more »

A Somali-Canadian journalist traveled to Ilhan Omar’s homeland of Somalia to challenge stereotypes and prove the country was “beautiful,” only to end up being killed by terrorists. Before President Trump’s tweetstorm in which he encouraged Omar to go back and fix her own country, Somali-Canadian journalist Hodan Nalayeh was trying to do precisely that. Nalayeh returned to the country of her birth to tell “uplifting” stories about Somalia, according to the Washington Post. The journalist became well known for her relentlessly positive tweets about Somalia. Just one week ago, she lauded the “beauty” of the place. One respondent praised her… Read more »

“The Squad”? Who the hell dubbed them that? CNN? “Squad” has an honorable intonation – “Our squad received medals and commendations for our valor in battle.”

.They should be called “The Four Bigots”.

They epitomize the festering racism, sexism and hetero-phobia which has nested itself in the media, Progressives and Democrat Party.

Whatever else can be said about these ladies (e.g., that they may be creations of the ‘Justice “D”/Center for American Progress(?), and merely actresses playing politicians in a p.r. campaign (?)), at least they weren’t on hand and complicit in the FRAUD of a primary election last go-round.

Congressperson Omar has been vilified (unfairly, in my view) for pointing out the extraordinary influence that the State of Israel exerts over numerous members of our government, and also for saying that “some people did something” (a more truthful account of 9-11 than many).

Easier said than done…stop reacting to Trump’s evil tirades, totally ignore them and do not comment on anything at all.
