Gilaine is trying to avoid being suicided.
Jester, that is the only explanation that comes to my mind. She may have been given the choice by Mossad: Keep your mouth shut and serve a life sentence – until we find a way down the road to get you out somehow, or spill the beans and end up being suicided now.
In my humble opinion, Alexander, she is prepared to spend the remainder of her life in prison as a guarantee of her safety. If she spills the beans about others involved, even if she is given witness protection, she is high profile enough to be recognised wherever she goes. The subsequent possibility that she would be assassinated is probably too high for her to contemplate. She is no doubt a wicked person, along with any and all of the others involved, but, morality today is non existent, so what can we expect?
