Thank God I left Lithuania before these heathens descended upon it. It was bad enough under Hitler and Stalin. 1990-2015 will become known as Lithuania’s Golden Age of Independence.
Oh, it’s not that bad yet. Just wait until they start rounding up and jailing politicians, dissidents and independent voices and accusing them of treason, like they do now in Ukraine.
Of course some less prominent figures Ukrainian patriots just shoot down in the streets, summary execution style. But we won’t mention that. Seems to be one of those verboten topics in western circles.
Won’t be written down in the history books, I think.
It is the Victor who writes the history. In other words Lithuania has been “liberated” now.
Victory’s of that named victor seem to be fleeting ones, in fact by their own making more often than not.
Well,they say a army is a mob trying to break out,a bored army with nothing to do is a dangerous thing,armies behave as they have always done from time in memorial ,from Roman Legionaries to US marines,they like to,drink,fight and chase women,it looks like the Baltic countries have more than they bargained for.
