For heaven’s sake America…collect ALL your troops from ALL over the world and take them home. Ever since the end of WW 2, you have caused enough pain and misery to too many people.

Would anyone today consider Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) to be “fallen” and its leadership as occupiers? As the West described the Syrian liberation of Aleppo as the “fall of Aleppo”, so was the socialist forces liberation of Saigon labelled as the “fall of Saigon”.

It is all a question of perspective . Will the population of Afghanistan see the the eventual taking of Kabul by the Taliban as the “Fall of Kabul” or the “Liberation of Kabul”?

I didn’t see any mention of poppies and their influence on what the U.S. is doing in Afghanistan. I’ve heard poppies are a billion dollar business and the CIA makes billions from controlling the poppies and the drug trade. If true, the CIA may have enough influence to keep the war going.
It takes a lot of money for the CIA to support its air force (drones) and it’s army (mercenaries).
