Tucker Carlson’s long-form interview with President Vladimir Putin has continued to yield fruit with more long-form interviews that totally differ from the “gotcha” style employed by American mass media outlets.
This interview with with Maria Zacharova, spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is remarkable. This sort of presentation, where Russian leaders are given a chance to truly speak their minds, is exactly what is needed.
Our thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, to Jackson Hinkle, and to Maria herself. We hope for more of this.

I expected an interview about current events, about which Maria Zacharova excels.
I was disappointed.
I also thought the interview would be along lines of policy, diplomacy. Jackson tried to steer it in that direction but Maria didn’t want to go there, and was evident from the beginning. All right with me, lots of cultural, historical and current events, with sharp feminine observations. I’ve always been interested in her statements as Foreign Office spokes person and thoroughly enjoyed the hour.
Great learning opportunity, Thank you for posting. 🙂
