I still think that you are understating the economic problems. A full-scale depression is more likely than another recession.

Good piece. We are seeing the accelerating decline of late-stage American capitalism. Indeed, none of the structural economic problems which created the Global Financial Crisis (GFC; 2007-2008) were resolved. Instead, since 2009 the FED has pumped over $40 trillion of ultra-cheap money to support insolvent banks & creating the ‘everything bubble’- over-inflated stocks, bonds, and real estate, rising inflation and an orgy of debt.
