I don’t understand why Russia doesn’t announce that the destruction of any more civilian lives and infrastructure in Russia will be considered a declaration of war by NATO. I don’t understand why Russia continues this stupid game of pretending NATO isn’t at war with Russia without retaliation against NATO.

Having considered this already, I’d say that Russian leadership has information that we don’t. They’ve given me the impression that they are highly intelligent and very serious so I can’t believe that they’re pussyfooting around for no reason. We’d also need to keep in mind that the USSR fell because they were dragged into a war they couldn’t win in Afghanistan using the same colour revolution methods they’ve employed in Ukraine. It seems that way. It’s probably easier for Russia to sit back and watch the west collapse from within at this point. Maybe they’re just dodging the flailings of the beast until it tires out and eventually just dies in the mire. Sometimes not doing anything is the best thing to do.

because Russia, as opposed to the US, wants to avoid WWIII. Perhaps Americans think that wanting to avoid war is “a stupid game” but Russia doesn’t think so, and neither do I.
