I wish all women athletes threatened by this madness should refuse to compete if and when they are forced to compete against any trans person . Sports and those profiting from sports might take a mighty beating if the only sports watched in arenas or on TV will be men and Trans folks. There would be a sharp decline in advertising revenues, as competition between only trans people would only attract a very limited audience. That may be the only way to put a stop to this madness. you asked the original question should trans people participate in Olympic events. My answer is unqualifyingly yes.
Against other trans people. Men should compete against men, women should compete against women, trans people should compete against trans people, disabled should compete against other similiarly disabled people.
Following this logic, a nations leaders should compete against other leaders of another nation rather than destroying lives and property of innocent and non beligerant people when conflicts arise and war is threatened.
Some other fellow suggested once, that he who is without sin, cast the first stone, when enforcing tribal custom.
