The highly controversial US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley has stated that prior to Donald Trump taking office, he offered her the position of Secretary of State, the American equivalent of Foreign Minister, but she declined.
According to Haley,
“I’m very aware of when things are right and when they are not. I just thought he could find someone better”.
The man who eventually got the position was Rex Tillerson. Tillerson continues to serve as Secretary of State, although many have speculated that he is not happy with the way things work in Washington.
This did not stop Haley from making further demands on Donald Trump when offered the position of Ambassador to the United Nations.
According to CNN, with whom Haley spoke extensively,
“First, she told Trump she wanted to be a member of the Cabinet and the National Security Council, privileges enjoyed by her predecessors in the Obama administration. Perhaps most importantly, she wanted the latitude to be herself, to say what she wanted”.
Haley who has no previous foreign policy experience felt that she would never be granted the powers she demanded, but when Trump agreed, she took the position.
Haley recounted the story in the following way,
“I said ‘I am a policy girl, I want to be part of the decision-making process’. He said, ‘done.’ And I said, ‘I don’t want to be a wallflower or a talking head. I want to be able to speak my mind”.
Some of Haley’s most infamous policy positions include
–Pre-blaming Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for a chemical attack which never happened
–Threatening war with North Korea while refusing to even rule out nuclear warfare
–Repeatedly saying ‘Assad must go’–even when her superiors say otherwise

Nikki Haley has incrasingly been at odds not only with responsible global opinion but with many of Trump’s own supporters. Her neo-con idology is seen as out of touch with the so-called Bannonite thinking which remains popular among supporters of the US President.

So can we have an example of how this less shrill, but as evil as samantha powers narcissist’s (probably what got her the job with tRump) “policy freedom” differs from that of the tRump (in name only) “administration” (this week’s edition) ?

She is one of the symptoms of the Fall of the US Empire, latching on to ensuring that reason or ratio (ever since Enlightenment) does not get a chance in the UN as far as the US is concerned).
Trump is the 5th horseman accompanying the fall of the empire. It called for someone with his personality and narcissism to do that job right.
Haley’s installment by Trump shows exactly why Trump was forced to pollute the swam instead of draining it: he tried to appease his opponents at the cost of his friends. He assumed those who were for him, despite their departures would still yield him off-office loyalty. At the same time his opponents would be turned if he offered them jobs. He thought wrong. Nikki reads slowly because her brain power is mostly used to generate the witless struggle to start WW111 She goes well beyond the shining house on the hill, and the USA we’re number one. She is more vile than anyone I have ever seen in USA Government. Where do people like NIkki Haley acquire such venom ?

She said ‘I am a policy girl’? Any woman who calls herself a girl lacks the basic credentials to be in serious politics at all. Those words also explain her immature, playground behaviour in the UN.
Since he said, before he was elected, that the UN was a waste of money, I assumed he gave Haley the job because he didn’t care about it. She was the token woman/ethnic minority: two for the price of one. The Conservatives here in Britain play that trick quite a lot.
