I really like these guys at the Duran, but watching this link, I got the feeling they were laughing at us… really at the people we let represent us… and it stings like hell. One of the differences between Russia and the rest of the world is that they have a fantastically competent team running all aspects of their politics. These people have been in place for many years, give or take a few, and are all experts at what they do. People are happy to say Putin this or that, but the truth is that he is at the head of a team chosen for its ability and not for any other reason.
Well said Diana. I put the Russian leadership in the same frame of British football. Russia is at the top of the premier league while the Europeans and America are languishing at the bottom of the amateur league.
The EU will continue on this path. Burocrats are like lines of code. They dont go left or right but straight into the iceberg.
