Former FDA Director Scott Gottlieb, who has been kicking himself for leaving the Trump Administration to spend more time “with family” late last year – only to miss out on what could have been a career-making turn as the nation’s corona-savior – and trying to compensate by appearing on “Squawk Box” and myriad other cable-TV shows as a certified “expert”, has some doubts about Russia’s new COVID vaccine.

And that’s hardly surprising. Since, to be fair, Gottlieb has expressed doubts for certain data dumps from Moderna and others which he has dubbed premature. Though it’s also worth noting that he’s on the board of Pfizer, a big-pharma giant that is working on its own COVID vaccine, having benefited from billions in promised and substantiated funding from the US government.

During Tuesday’s appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Box”, Gottlieb weighed in on the COVID issue du jour: the newly registered Russian vaccine, which President Putin has touted as a ‘first in the world’ accomplishment.

Gottlieb has his doubts:

“I wouldn’t take it, certainly not outside a clinical trial right now, it appears it has only been tested in several hundreds patients at most,” Gottlieb complained. He also warned that the “adenoviral vector” used by the Russian scientists is similar to the strategy being pursued by CanSino. And Gottlieb alleged the data out of the CanSino trial has been ‘suboptimal’.

But it’s not just the lack of clinical data that bothers Gottlieb: the adenoviral vector used by the Russian vaccine is also being used by CanSino, a Chinese pharma giant working on its own vaccine. Gottlieb says the data released from CanSino so far “hasn’t been great”…and since Russia hasn’t released much in the way of any data, Gottlieb says it’s fair to question the results touted by the Russian government.

Gottlieb, however, did concede that it’s “not a trivial vaccine,” noting the complexity of the adenoviral vector. Still, “it’s not at all clear how efficacious the Russian adenovirus vaccine is going to be”.

Of course he wouldn’t: both the FDA and the CDC are in the pocket of US Big Pharma, and the idea of someone else producing the vaccine is anathema to them. They will do their utmost to ensure their sponsors get your money – and plenty of it! As for the so-called “experts” who are sceptical about the Russian vaccine, they must be the same ones behind a whole range of US-made vaccines that were proved deadly when trailed on children in India and Africa, in the most unethical manner possible. It is unlikely that I will choose to be… Read more »

I would put a lot more faith into something that the developers feel confident in trying on themselves. A lot more. Rather than a doc/researcher who won’t take it until many others have tried it before him. In the west people are offered money to participate in trials like this. Good money. Thousands of dollars is not uncommon. Which targets financially insecure people for a chance for ‘easy money’. And military personnel often has to take non-mainstream meds before deployment. So no difference here. Interesting that the doc would not take his own creation until is it tested on many… Read more »

I would take it,I mean why not?,from what I understand the corona virus belongs to a family of viruses such MERS and SARS,to which very smart Russian scientists have been studying for over two decades..It is rather idiotic to dismiss this apparent break through just because of a narrow mind and bigotry, this is Not the space race,it’s about saving human lives,of course the much alluded to about big pharma and it’s loss of pattern control does play a big part in the short sightedness of some in the current US administration..

He’s just mad cause he and his cabal pharma buddies are losing billions for being too late to the party. I wouldn’t take a US/EU vaccine for any reason though, I absolutely do not trust any western pharma company. Especially any with even trace ties to Bill Gates and his flimflamdation

So happy Russia already has orders from over 20 countries and more than a billion doses. If I were to take a vaccination shot(I never ever will) I’d take one that Putin took, if it was 100% made in Russia. If the US bought it from Russia they would no doubt put a deadly carrier in them so they could kill us off down the line. Remember folks, this is just the starting point of the cull, and that cull is because the pole flip solar nova IS coming, Poles already left the building, the elites simply don’t want 7billion… Read more »

There’s a lull in the cull as the psychopaths mull how to make the peons null.

I guess Gottlieb, an insider .gov sychophant, is waiting on one with a sterilization drug and an ID chip in it that CNN, MSNBC, Bill Gates, Birx and Fauci are going to push in the near future.
