Alexandria’s Credibility Problem

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have bundles of charisma and good looks to match, but like so many women who look too good to be true, she is. She has a political problem, but far worse than that, she has a credibility problem.

It would be tiresome to itemise all her lies and distortions, but there is a recent one that cannot be allowed to go unchallenged.

On December 2, she informed the world:

“Reminder that Brett Kavanaugh *still* remains credibly accused of sexual assault on multiple accounts w/ corroborated details & this year the FBI admitted it never fully investigated.

Yet the court is letting him decide on whether to legalize forced birth in the US. No recusal.”

For those who do not follow US politics intensely, Brett Kavanaugh was nominated for the Supreme Court by Donald Trump. Kavanaugh is a known ultra-conservative. The father of two daughters, he isn’t simply squeaky clean but is quite likely the cleanest man ever to be nominated not only for the US Supreme Court but for any court in any country at any time in history. He is also opposed to abortion, and it was widely believed by “progressives” that given the chance he would attempt to reverse Roe v Wade, something that could not be tolerated, so with the duplicity and overt cruelty we have come to expect of the upper echelons of the Democratic Party, a plan was put in place to ensure he wasn’t confirmed.

This involved an emotional but ultimately false claim by Christine Blasey Ford that three decades and more previously, Kavanaugh had tried to rape her or had at the very least mauled her sexually at a party. This very public accusation caused outrage; one of the high and mighty who claimed to believe Dr Ford was Kamala Harris, who praised her “courage”. This was the same Kamala Harris who believed a similar and equally false allegation against Joe Biden then accepted his invitation to become his Vice-President.

Trump and other leading Republicans surely realised that if Kavanaugh’s application were to be withdrawn they would never appoint another conservative to the Supreme Court. Those of a certain vintage will remember the confirmation hearing of Clarence Thomas who was subjected to similar – although far less serious – allegations of sexual misconduct by Anita Hill. One of the people responsible for the dirty tricks at this 1991 hearing was none other than Joe Biden.

Fortunately, two people saved the day for Kavanaugh; one was the man himself; the other was Rachel Mitchell or whoever brought her in. How many men in their fifties could produce documentation on their movements from their teenage years? Kavanaugh did!  Sex crimes prosecutor Mitchell questioned Dr Ford without showing the slightest aggression, and exposed her falsehoods.

Later, there would be two more developments, neither of which has received substantial publicity. Trump supporter and vlogger Ali Alexander read a book by one of Kavanaugh’s old school friends and concluded that Ford too had read this book, basing the party incident on it. The book contained no details of where the party was held, so Ford was unable to give any details of how she got there or how she got home. At least one idiot with letters after his name was taken in by this flim-flam, but not Alexander.

Further confirmation of Ford’s duplicity came from a most unusual source when in a stunning display of arrogance her own attorney as good as admitted the lie on video. Or perhaps this wasn’t so stunning; if America were indeed a nation of laws as Bill Clinton once claimed, a number of very senior Democrat politicians would be behind bars, including his own wife.

It remains to be seen if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez followed the developments in the Blasey Ford allegations, but she was certainly aware of the false allegations that followed, and false they were, all of them.

This is what is known as the bandwagon effect. Powerful men or those in the public eye are often the victims of false allegations, not always of a sexual nature. When one allegation is given prominent coverage, other accusers jump on the bandwagon. This can happen to women too, as can scurrilous rumours of all kinds. One of the better known of the latter is the Clinton death list, an extensive list of people who are said to have been murdered at the behest of Bill and Hillary. A straightforward examination of this list leads to its falling apart. Many of those on it had very tenuous connections with the Clintons; there are suicides – one of a lawyer who was facing gaol time – and the death of an elderly lawyer who crashed his private plane. On top of that, Hillary in particular prefers to attack people’s reputations rather than their persons, as the Steele dossier proves.

Again, it remains to be seen how much of this Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is aware of, or if her tiny mind is ever occupied with anything other than musings about racism, white supremacy, and the abuse of women. She has certainly been subjected to verbal abuse, but this is par for the course for anyone in politics, especially those whose rhetoric alienates substantial tranches of the public and whose insane policies if implemented would lead to not just the end of the United States but the end of civilisation as we know it.

Some of this is from memory; but I feel all that follows is valid. Any additional details and clarifications would be honored. The devil is in the details. That silly girl (T.S.G) also know as AOC did not actually “run” for office. She was selected (among 1000’s of applicants) by a group of very slick, and very well funded, young ideologues. Let us call them the YSD (Young Social Dems). T.S.G (not yet 30) who had the right looks (check), right gender (check), right “genetics” (check), right age (check) was hired for the part. I have watched parts of this… Read more »
