Do your Grexit. The brits showed the way. Negotiate some bizarre treaty wit the E.U. and then flush it down the toilet. Thd E.U. will go with it. Then start blackmailing the E.U. for billions for keeping the refugees at bay like Erdonut. And buy a sofa in case Ursula drops by.
LOL…or rent one for the duration.
Do not dream in colour, the Anti Christ EU, UK and US will never support Greece or Cyprus against criminal Turkey.
I feel somewhat hesitant to opine on a comment made by two Greeks about a Greek issue when my knowledge about this region is so limited. My first reaction is that I find Erdogan’s plan to declare the Turkish part of Cyprus an independent republic totally absurd. And I completely agree with Alexander that Greece needs to distance itself from the EU, for a number of reasons. I have never been to that region of the world, but when I looked at a map of Turkey ‘s coastline for the first time, I found it striking that all of these little islands… Read more »
that applies to Britain as well. The british channel islands are very close to french shores.
The Normans invaded England and won the war and became part of today’s Britain. That may have something to do with the fact that some channel islands, although close to Normandy, are not part of Normandy, the land the Norman invaders left behind.
The islands are not part of the UK or EU, but rather are possessions of the British Crown with independent administrations. Their inhabitants are British citizens. The Channel Islands were owned by the Duchy of Normandy, and passed to the English Crown when William the Conqueror became King of England in 1066. While England lost mainland Normandy in 1204, the islands remained possessions of the Crown and were divided into the two bailiwicks later that century.
And France has two islands just 16 kilometres off the east coast of Canada, almost 5,000 km from the coast of France.
The names of the French islands are Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
And so are the Falkland Islands only 500Km from Argentina. Stolen by Britain.
Yep, their correct names are “Islas Malvinas“.
Hi Helga, the present Turkish coast was previously Greek, hence explaining why the nearby Greek Islands are also Greek.
Quick reminder! The ‘EU’ is a deeply corrupt ‘illegitimate’ undemocratic Dictatorship. When the EC [A Community of ‘Sovereign’ States!] was morphed into the EU with the ‘Lisbon Treaty’ it was defacto an ‘Coup D’éta’ facilitated by the corrupt criminal kleptocratic neoliberal/globalist Elites/Oligarchs, Corporate Fascists + Financial Mafia-Cartels – NO ‘EC’ Citizen has EVER voted for this or was even allowed to vote for/against it – Absolute NO Democracy Involved, what so ever. The EU-Junta [EU-Commission + Council] are a total illegitimate ‘unelected’ Gang of Criminals – NO ‘EU’ Citizen has EVER voted for them or was even allowed to vote… Read more »
The E.U. parliament is on the payroll of George Soros. All of them. Farage once suggested every MEP lay open whether he got money from Soros. You can guess what happened.
Not even directly from the Soros-Mafia, around the globe the AmeriCunt’s CIA Regime-Change + Color-Revolution + Meddling Off-Shoots use the countless Soros [fake/phony]NGO’s to funnel + launder funds/bribes ect to cover-up the origin of the money that’s the reason the Soros-Mafia runs/works always in tandem + parasitic symbioses with them AKA full-blown Partners in Crimes. The mostly useless EU Parliament is in Europe the Mothership of political corruption meddling lobbyism and a gigantic grift for most of those crooks, they are mostly politclowns w/o any luck in their homecountries anymore and are off-loaded there to keep the grift on-going to… Read more »
Julia Reda left the E.U. parliament for MIT i guess. It must have been a painful experience.
The EU is a economic deathtrap made by Wallstreet to loot en keep europe poor. Thats what happend since the corporate ECB (basically the FED) was established. This is not only valid for Greece but for Italy, Portugal, Spain and now also France as well. Erdogan is the emperor without cloths. His Syria Libya policy is a disaster, his M-E oil grab policy is a disaster. Greek political class is incompetent like the rest of the EU. Turkey is next inline for economic downfall.
Turkey is a failed state. The only things that keep it going are the billions that Angela “deep pockets” Merkel let herself be blackmailed into with her “refugee pact” with turkey – which is as jnsane as all her policies – corruption and a brutal police force. That the E.U. wants to talk about “integration” with turkey only shows how completely detached from reality these eurocrats are.
I have little sympathy for Greece, their problems are largely of their own making. They provoked Turkey into invading by their insistence on eventual enosis. I was in Cyprus in the fifties and it is hardly surprising that Britain has tended to side with Turkey. After all, it was Greek Cypriots who were murdering my friends and the riot squad at the time was exclusively Turkish. The Brits regarded the Turkish Cypriots as their friends and by their actions proved themselves to be so. Today of course, the situation has changed and Turkey are our potential enemy, while Greece struggles… Read more »
The Greek Cypriots have in fact prostituted themselves to the anglo-american empire and the EU cabal. Had they chosen better allies their situation might have looked better today.
So, Turkey violates a UN mandate. Big deal. All the ‘best’ nations violate UN mandates on territorial issues.
I won’t name the biggest one but it was named after a guy named Vespucci.
It’s also known as DumbFuckistan home of the AmeriCunts.
