Russian President Vladimir Putin has been filmed driving a Mercedes ML-class sport utility vehicle to the Valaam Monastery which is currently exhibiting the relics of St. Sergius and Herman.
Putin was seen parking the car before opening up a rear passenger door.
Some have speculated that he had a mystery passenger in the backseat.
The truth is much less interesting. He was merely looking for his jacket and a security guard who accompanied him in the back seat merely pointed out that another security guard outside had already taken the President’s jacket.
Putin generally removes his jacket when in cars, either as driver or passenger.
So much for the conspiracy theories.

America should be more respectful of the Russians.
I watched this video yesterday, and found it interesting that President Putin drove himself. American elites wouldn’t dream of driving their own car–let alone pumping their own gas which I once saw a picture of Mr. Putin doing. This can be marked down as having the common touch, and I’m sure that’s part of it. I also think this has a lot to do with Mr. Putin simply enjoying doing things for himself. And by the way, it’s nobody’s business who handed him his jacket.
Our mediocre and shameful American press,behaves more as a tabloid. I really understand
the corrupt media owners,but reporters and journalists selling their soul for money, reading the scripts of their masters!..that’s a betrayal to real journalists and journalism.
Yesterday, was Putin and the mysterious woman,today was Trump’s complement to the French First Lady. Is there something wrong with private life of American Journalists? Envy,frustation, repress feelings?!????
I think Putin sees things in a different way than our press wants him too. Yes he was a KGB Spy. I think he is a human being who wants to see beyond our world. WHo knows he may be having a spiritual conversion as our president has had. I hope and pray he sees beyond the trouble making dem’s and media. I can only pray for him.
I think Putin is the ultra statesman and admire him greatly. I also have a slightly older ML 550, identical to the one Putin is seen to have been driving above. My wife knows I am a Putin fan, and when I told her about him driving an ML, she came back with, “I knew it. I married Putin.” This was too hilarious not to share.
