So the US government is planning to fight a war with China, a thermonuclear power, to dispute control of Taiwan which even the US government itself admits is an integral part of China. Maybe China could make a counterclaim on California, to which it has just as much right as the USA to Taiwan. If any war escalated to a thermonuclear exchange, every human being would die. If a conventional war were to be fought without nuclear weapons, the USA would be crushingly defeated. After which, knowing the Washington crew, they would escalate to a nuclear exchange. Not to mention… Read more »

By the way, why do all those people assume that “US dominance” is so vital? Why must their gang rule the world? It has nothing at all to recommend it.

Bismarck famously said that “the secret of diplomacy is to make a good treaty with Russia”. He knew very well that it was in Germany’s interest to be friends with Russia.

The following passage strikes me as being astoundingly naive from Mercouris: 50:11 If you really are planning or preparing for a 50:19 war with China, and I want to stress again I’m not suggesting that Hegseth and 50:24 others are actually looking for a war with China, I think in their own minds 50:30 it’s still essentially deterrence … What is Mercouris hypothesizing to be “essentially deterrence” by the U.S. Government, regarding America’s policy of reaffirming that “China on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is one country, China is part of China.” and simultaneously donating weapons to Taiwan in… Read more »

Pete Hegseth decides NOTHING.

Pete Hegseth is a puppet of the Jews who control him.

Pete Hegseth railed for years about NOT allowing women in combat and gays in the military. A few days after he accepted his current job ( which he is not even remotely qualified for ) he totally reversed his position – which was a condition for him to be Sec of Defence no doubt.

Pete Hagseth, like Trump, will do and say anything that will help Pete Hegseth regardless of logic or morality .

This explains why President Biden signed so many presidential pardons until the very last minute of his authority. These admissions in the NYT are grounds for criminal prosecutions against many very irresponsible people! That’s just my opinion.

Trump has been lauded as the first president for a while who has not started any new wars, but this sabre rattling against China, whose only sin in his eyes is to be more successful, is extremely dangerous. Trump might be a master tactician but he doesn’t have anyone of any calibre around him. His appointments are only ordinary people who have little idea of diplomacy. The Russians and the Chinese can run rings round them.
