As we watch the debacle of the Ukraine / NATO vs Russia conflict dissolve into a disastrous historical event, we can hear the many voices now trying to assign blame for an outcome that was known from the beginning back in February of 2022. It has been the “Joe Biden / Victoria Nuland” war from the beginning, and I am sure if Gonzalo Lira were alive today, he would be saying “I told you so.”
The recent “news” about America’s “secret” involvement in the conflict is causing many, especially in America, to realize the depth and breadth of American involvement in the war from the beginning. From the early planning to the day-to-day war effort, American top-level military and civilian leadership have been involved in every aspect of the war. While these events are shocking for many, they are not for those of us who have been following THEDURAN. Daily presentations by the folks on THEDURAN have provided insights and the truths surrounding the war. From the politically motivated decisions of misguided politicians to the many senior generals advising the Ukraine leadership, we have seen it is an exercise of colossal hubris.
Will anyone have the integrity to stand up and admit that they were wrong and that their actions directly lead to the deaths of more than a million people? No. Will the political class of the West admit to their constituency that they were wrong? No. Will the news media who fed false information to the masses ever admit that they were duping the people? No.
In the end, the powerful will blame it all on the weak as they have always done, and “history” will record that it was all the fault of the “incompetent” Ukraine leadership, both civilian and military. In the end, the false narrative of “it was all Russia’s fault” and of course, the evil Vladimir Putin, will prevail in the West, and Western political and military leaders will be able to sleep at night.
But it is a fast-changing world. More and more of its citizens are no longer easily duped by the media and incompetent political leaders. There is a reckoning coming to the West as more and more countries no longer believe or trust the false words of Western leaders. There is no substitute for truth, and in the end the people will know.

I really hope that you are right with your prediction
A problem is that they do not think they were “wrong”. Unsuccessful perhaps, and they would have been overjoyed had the Russian economy collapsed under the sanctions, but wrong? Never!
We might ask why Russia left $300,000,000,000 in assets with their “partners” in the West. Weird!
