Ukraine's nazi junta defeated? Poroshenko announces ceasefire in East Ukraine

Poroshenko is now backtracking on his comments. Obviously the State Department was not happy with his ceasefire statements. From Zerohedge:

And then Obama, in all his infinite wisdom, makes his most bonehead foreign policy announcement to date…

As the Ukraine military suffers massive defeats in the East, Ukraine President Poroshenko appears to be playing the only card left for his government to play, ceasefire. Putin is providing Poroshenko, (aka Obama and Merkel) an off ramp out of the disastrous campaign they hatched to plunder Ukraine and destabilise Russia.

The Ria Novosti news agency reports..

“Mutual understanding was reached in regard to steps to be taken to provide peace,” a statement published on the Ukrainian president’s website reads.
Earlier the same day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the presidents’ views to ending the crisis considerably coincide. Peskov also said the heads of state exchanged opinions of what needed to be done to halt the bloodshed in the country’s southeast.

Don’t buy into any of the diplomatic niceties, this is a Ukraine surrender and perhaps the only way left (short of a NATO military intervention) to stop a Novorussian offensive on Mariupol, Odessa and maybe even Kiev. This move also saves Europe from even more retaliatory Russian measures which would tear the stumbling continent apart.
The move can also be seen as a last ditch effort for Poroshenko to save himself, save Nuland lapdog Yatz and save many of his Oligarch pals from inevitable prosecution of horrific war crimes against their own citizens.
The Novorussian army, however, feels much differently about forgiving the nazi hell unleashed on their people…

In turn, a militia representative from the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) claimed to be unaware of any ceasefire agreement and stated that independence supporters would not stop fighting until Kiev-controlled forces left the Donbas Region.

And the ITAR TASS news agency confirms that Putin, while giving Poroshenko (i.e. the USA and EU) a way out, in the end it is up to the Novorussians themselves if they wish to restrain from paying Kiev a visit and doing unto the junta regime what was done unto them.

Moscow has repeatedly pointed out that Russia is not a party to Ukraine’s internal conflict. This is precisely what President Putin emphasized after last week’s negotiations with Poroshenko in Minsk.
“Frankly speaking, we are not in the position to discuss any ceasefire terms or likely agreements between Kiev, Donetsk and Luhansk. That’s none of our business but Ukraine’s internal affair,” Putin said.

If the approval to call this ceasefire was given by the State Department then it is genuine and may stick. If it was done without the consent of Washington then look for Obama and his neo-con masters to remove Poroshenko and try to replace him with someone more “warmonger’esque” in order to double down on the conflict and build some sort of main stream media victory fairytale (or even false flag) in what has become another Obama failure and big dirty stain on America and Europe who will go down in history for supporting an openly nazi government.
If Obama had any good sense he would finally dismiss John Kerry, Victoria Nuland, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice and fire Jen Psaki. Only then can he begin to salvage his dignity as a man and as the US President.
