Democracy has collapsed. The blatant political persecution of an ex-president, coupled in addition to the vociferous persecution of his supporters, constitutes the hallmark of Third World countries. Fascistic Third World countries to be more precise. The USSA has thus now surrendered any pretenses of being a nation that abides by rule of law. Thank God I speak other languages and have a second passport. Robert Barnes. I do appreciate your comments. But listening to your comments I think you missed an important historical fact. In the 19th century China was hit with a major drug problem and that was opium. There were two important US families whose wealth derived from that market. Their names were Forbes and Delano (i.e. FDR).
Given the problems that arose from that era (especially in Hong Kong) China has made drug trafficking a capital offense.
