The NEW YORKER magazine shills for Democratic Party billionaires.

The New Yorker magazine is doing everything it can to prevent Donald Trump from winning confirmation of his appointees, and this article will be about why. Then it will be about how.

Democratic Party billionaires (their corporations and other agents), and also some Republican Party billionaires, dislike Donald Trump, who in his first term as President was an agent of only Zionist and libertarian Republican Party billionaires. The article about the New Yorker magazine in the CIA-edited and written Wikipedia (which blacklists (blocks from linking to) sites that aren’t CIA-approved), says nothing about its ownership, but it’s owned by the Newhouse family as part of their elitist (pro-aristocratic and heavily Democratic Party) Conde Nast Publications subsidiary of their Advance Publications private corporation, which is owned by the Newhouse family, whose Samuel I. Newhouse bought Conde Nast in 1959, and whose son, Samuel I. Newhouse Jr., purchased the New Yorker for that subsidiary in 1985.

Not only Conde Nast employees but Advance Publications employees donate almost 100% to the Democratic Party because otherwise their publishers (called instead “the editor”) — who are appointed and fired by the family and who hire and fire their employees, and who get no feedback from the owners except by being hired and fired by them, themselves — might more likely be fired. (This way — by Newhouse NOT providing feedback on their ‘news’-reporting and commentary — if and when the publisher gets fired, no one will know why it happened, and everything will stay private, and the subscribers won’t know what the family’s motives were and agenda are, but will believe the myth that what they’re subscribing to is “honest journalism,” not political or any other propaganda, in this ‘democracy’.)

In 1987, two years after Newhouse Jr. bought the magazine (and, of course, without explanation), he fired the existing editor William Shawn, and hired Robert Gottlieb as the editor, who lasted till 1992 when the hot-shot British Tina Brown got the nod from Newhouse Jr. but then got hired away by Bob Weinstein at Disney’a Miramax Films, and her choice to replace herself was the rabidly neoconservative David Remnick, who got the job.

In 2015, the only great investigative journalist that published in the New Yorker, Seymour Hersh, who had been publishing there since 1971 — 44 years — got yanked by Remnick from their roster because Hersh had sources he trusted who convinced him that Obama (who, of course, is a Democrat) was telling some big lies about the killing of bin Laden, and Remnick refused even to consider — wouldn’t contract him to write — it. If an article won’t slant the desired way, they won’t hire the reporter to write a piece on it. And Newhouse didn’t fire his editor for doing that. Of course, the owner is the decider. Subscribers to this magazine ought to know that.

Here is how Remnick eulogized Newhouse Jr. at his death. Here is a more honest and complete obituary of that owner, in the Times of Israel, the newspaper owned by Donald Trump’s biggest donors, the hyper-Zionist Sheldon and Miriam Adelson. So, this is between two billionaire Jewish families, one liberal, and the other conservative. (Neither of them is at all progressive — nor is either of America’s political Parties. (Of course, the Democratic Party pretends to be.)

The New Yorker isn’t only a magazine: it is also “The New Yorker Radio Hour,” which is broadcast weekly on many National Public Radio (NPR) stations. Two recent programs will be linked-to here. Each can be heard at an NPR site and on many local affiliate stations’ sites, and several others.

“‘The Authors of “How Democracies Die’ on the New Democratic Minority” has Remnick interviewing two Harvard political ‘scientists’ who say that America would be a democracy if only the Electoral College were eliminated (change the Constitution to pure popular-vote), and they ignore that with ‘news’-media, think tanks, universities, publishers, etc., that are controlled by billionaires (and from whom they themselves derive their own very high incomes), that change won’t necessarily be an improvement. They ignore that simply by giving voters a choice between candidates all of whom have been nominated by billionaires (and this can happen with or without the Electoral College), the result will inevitably BE an aristocracy — rule by the super-rich — instead of democracy. They are paid to be blind to the reality in America and to keep the public falsely informed about it, and they are doing what they are paid by the aristocracy to do.

“Donald Trump’s Reëlection, and America’s Future” has Remnick interviewing three of his ‘journalists’. They condemn Trump as a danger to a democracy. They think it exists in America, and they assume that Kamala Harris was the superior candidate and would have been a better — NOT worse — President. They think that the reasons she lost were misogyny and anti-Black prejudice. At 26:30- in the podcast, one of the ‘journalists’ says that RFK Jr.’s (then-possible but now real) inclusion in a Trump Administration is “the first emerging scandal of the new administration,” and she attributes it to Trump’s “incompetence.” At 32:00, Trump is savaged because he said that America should defend only itself and not go to WW3 against Russia in order to defend any other country but America. (To a neocon, that is outrageous. They like America’s spending $1.5 trillion total per year on the military.)

I’m not saying that these propagandists know that this is what they are, but only that this is what they are. Maybe it’s because they’re fools; maybe it’s because they’re corrupt; but this is the reality.

Just like Fox ‘News’ shills for Republican Party billionaires, liberal media such as the New Yorker and CNN etc., shill for Democratic Party billionaires — but all of the mainstream media are bought and paid for by billionaires, and reflect their agendas, NOT the public’s.

It’s all propaganda.
