The Democrat Playbook Is On Open Display

The hearings being held by the Republicans to expose and hopefully prosecute the criminal Biden Administration are now well underway, and some of their revelations are alarming if not entirely unexpected, but you wouldn’t think that if you relied on the mainstream media, and even less so if you believed the utterances of leading Democrats.

Wearing a ridiculous hat and spewing even more ridiculous rhetoric, Congressman Raskin accused the Republicans of promoting – you guessed it – a conspiracy theory. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – never the sharpest tool in the shed – alluded to the “alleged” Hunter Biden laptop. The New York Post had no corroboration for the story, she said. This is the same woman who said Brett Kavanaugh had been “credibly accused” of sexual assault by a woman who claimed to have met him 35 years ago. And of course, Democrats as well as sundry media outlets spent literally years peddling lies about Donald Trump’s Russia collusion without any corroboration.

She claimed too that the suppression of the New York Post story was a 24 hour hiccup in a right wing political operation about Hunter Biden’s half-fake laptop story. (From alleged to only half-alleged). For someone who professes to be a woman of the people she seems remarkably unconcerned about wealthy insiders at the top of her party and their offspring who have been making millions out of selling their country down the river. To his credit, the genuine leftist Jimmy Dore called her out.  

Raskin had the temerity to claim Twitter was a private company (so could publish or not publish what it pleased). There are two big problems with that claim. The first is that if Twitter or any similar forum chooses what to publish and what not to publish, it becomes a publisher and can be held liable in tort. (This is subject to the usual qualification of removing material that is blatantly illegal, etc). The second problem is that it has become clear from what we have heard already that dozens of Government agencies were telling Twitter to remove this, ban that, shadow ban or deprecate the messages of this person or that, and for the most part, Twitter complied.

These agencies – including the FBI – were also breathing down the necks of Facebook and Google (especially YouTube). That turns them into de facto agents of the state, so Raskin’s argument is dead wrong.

Apart from being wrong, AOC was saying in effect, time to move on. The Democrats actually set up a website called moveon.org which is currently calling for the removal of shameless Republican liar George Santos, but not for the even more shameless Democrat liar Joe Biden, who has been lying to the American public since before Santos was born.

Radio talk show host Dan Bongino has described this strategy in depth. When allegations are made against Republicans – be they true or false – their reaction is to steamroller the victim. When though the wrongdoer is a Democrat, they drip, drip, drip material into the public domain, then at some point claim it is old news – time to move on. In other words, without any reckoning. This is what happened with Hillary Clinton. Judicial Watch uncovered her private server after making a freedom of information request in relation to the Benghazi hearings only to be told there were no Clinton e-mails from an official e-mail address. 

What Clinton did was illegal, period, that alone should have earned her prison time. Why she did it becomes clear when one factors in her foundation. She too was selling access, through her former President husband. Yet what happened? James Comey exonerated her with a wave of his hand. In retrospect, Trump’s Attorney General William Barr should have indicted her. The Democrats and the media would have screamed to High Heaven, but she wouldn’t have had a leg to stand on, and Trump would very likely have still been President.

Revelations are still coming from the current hearings, but if past performance is anything to go by, none of these criminals will be held to account, least of all China Joe.
