The alleged attack on tankers in the Gulf

Submitted by George Callaghan…

Saudi oil tankers were attacked in the Gulf a few days ago – so we were told. An oil tanker is the most flammable thing afloat yet these tankers did not go on fire. Nobody was injured or killed on any of the four tankers. It seems fishy. If the Saudis wanted to stage a fake attack this is how they would have done it. If indeed there as any damage to these ships it could have been a false flag operation.

We do not know the ships were damaged. If they were we do not know if it was by human agency or some other kind of accident. Even if it was by human agency it could have been an accident. Even if it was purposive we do not know who did it. Even if it was the Houthi rebels we do not know that Iran approved.

The United States has said it has the right to launch a pre-emptive strike on any country. Presumably other nations have the right to launch such a strike on the US under this doctrine of pre-emption.

Teheran is endeavouring to restore tranquility. As they wish for a détente an attack like this is the last thing they would contemplate. This want a pacific resolution to regional disputes. The Washington war hawks wand blood. It fits their agenda for these attacks to take place. It is very convenient for them. They are itching for an excuse to make war.

When there is a crime the police look for a motive. There is no benefit to Iran in rattling Saudi Arabia’s cage. Provoking the Saudis would make a Saudi-Israeli-US attack on Iran. In relation to this attack: cui bono? It is surely Iran’s foes. Is it not possible that Mossad or the CIA staged these attacks?

The whole thing has shades of the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. In 1964 some US warships off the coast of Vietnam were supposedly attacked by the North Vietnamese Navy. The US Congress then authorized the president to get fully involved in the Vietnam Conflict. Many maintain there was no attack in the US Navy in the Gulf of Tonkin. Not a single US sailor was killed or wounded.

If the pic is accurate the only way that damage came to be is with a submerged object of significant size and density, like a reef or a rocky shelf or a submarine surfacing too soon or creeping too close. Nothing explosive leaves a dent lest it was a powerful firework or a rocket fired from that part of the tanker. Frankly if I was to be kind I’d say the ships pilot was a fool, but that would be too generous given the BS at play here.

It was obviously a shaped charge. (John explained such things to me). Clearly, the Russians are supplying Iran with advanced explosives. It’s conclusive proof. We must invade Russia, right after we’re finished with our backyard of Venezuela, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Cuba, North Korea and Turkey.

Don’t forget Mexico.

Well, when Elliot Abrams (or whoever) was asked if he had proof of his accusation of Iran, he replied” “Who else do you think was behind it, the Nepalese?”

Personally, given the well established by overuse ‘principle of likelihood’, which Abrams himself cast to the winds in lieu of his own ‘principle of certainty’, I’d say it must have been the Nepalese.

Sorry, looks like it was Bolton, not Abrams. Two peas in a pod, anyway.

Sneak little b*tards those sherpas. They can go almost anywhere and be found in some pretty unlikely places. I heard they’ve been spotted disposing of dead bodies on the top of Mt Everestt. What will they get upto will the get to next. 😉 🙂

PS Bless the the sherpas for putting up with our BS all these centuries.

yes and putting up with myth that Hillary was the first person to climb Everest. They neglect to mention the Sherpa on top of the mountain hauling him up.

What did Hillary do when she reached the top, yell “We came, we saw, the Sherpa died so I’d be first”, then cackle until she ran out of breath?

Well, that’s a pretty silly parody. Hillary’s lucky if she can navigate two steps on a stoop by herself, let alone scaling Everest. Pushing the Sherpa off the cliff though, that I could definitely imagine. I’m sure the mountain goats were ecstatic over not hearing her cackle in the thin air for more than a few seconds though.

You’re clearly falling for the deception. Hillary is faking the two step thing. She fails at three.

Speaking of disposals, the White Helmets are famous for their talent of disposing of dead bodies right after al Qaeda’s namesakes shot or decapitated them. What ever would the world do without the White Helmets?. They’re like well-trained scavenging birds cleaning up road kill carrion after the drivers of western hegemony ran them over in a drunken stupor.

it is the Israelis that want the US to go to war against Iran, so my vote for the culprits is that it was Mossad. They had the most to gain if this all went south.

You have so little faith in the Saudis’ ability to do anything for themselves, other than dismember dissident journalists in foreign lands. However, they even botched that one up. They should have asked for MI6’s help again.
