Turning to Russia for help: If Zlensky, with the help of the CHinese, offers to join the SMO with purpose of ridding Ukraine of Asov and CIA, then perhaps Putin would listen to him; but as you say ‘Zelnsky is spoiled goods’. Your suggestion of stepping down is likely what they would want to hear. But the war against Asov must continue for Russia. Zelensky has no right to get angry with being played because he does the same thing himself to others. He promised them he would beat Russia and he hasn’t delivered. They promised him membership of the club and they haven’t delivered. Boo hoo.They are locked into a mutually destructive relationship.

I agree with Alex, Russia is his only way out, a huge problem with that is the Ukrainian nationalists who would target him for assassination, not to mention the bad blood between him and the Russian Military and the Russian citizens…
