Zelensky is no more a “hostage” of the situation than either you or I. He CHOSE to be where he is at and doing what he is doing. Nobody put a gun to his head and said “You’re going to be the puppet at the helm of a criminal state or else!” Thats simply absurd. Hes there and doing what he’s doing because he wants to. Plain and simple.
The U.S and Nato doesn’t have what it takes to impose a no fly zone over the Ukraine, because Ukraine is practically already under a Russian no fly zone. No U.S / Nato fighter jet would even reach the Ukrainian airspace before it would be blown out of the skies. Second any airfield in Europe that any jet would take of from to engage the Russians would be instantly destroyed.
