Prigozhin is in no way a professional leader. He may be a bombastic and animated figurehead but lacks any self control.
Colonel MacGregor seems to think that Putin has let him have his head because he’s useful in passing out disinfo to the other side. Make no mistake, if he had been a liability to Russia, he would have been removed long ago.
There have been a recent spate of highly threatening statements by Mevedev (Medvedev Beats A Bellicose Drum ) and Lavrov (e.g. “We will not respond by talking about ‘casus belli’ or not, we will respond with concrete actions,”), which if taken at face value are distinctly indicative of Russian preparedness to initiate open, direct warfare between Russia and the collective west, particularly the U.S.. I follow The Duran and do not find them reporting on this.
Recall, please, the many credible remonstrances (e.g., Ray McGovern, Douglas Macgregor, Scott Ritter) to claims that ‘the Russians are bluffing’. There seems to be a distinct lack of propensity, by the Kremlin, for bluffing. They says what they means and they means what they say.
