Some good news from the Afghan Iran border. The Taliban has allowed Helmand River to once more flow into Iran’s parched Sistan and Baluchestan province, providing water to over one million Iranians, according to Kuwaiti media outlet Al-Jarida. In exchange the Iranians are handing back weapons with which Afghans escaped into Iran. Does this include the forty aircraft and helicopters? I don’t know.
I would imagine the Iranians are having a good look at it all before they hand it back.
