FB’s so called “fact checkers” have struck again, claiming that my report on the science that proves that wearing facemasks, especially in non-medical settings does almost nothing to prevent the spread of a virus, is false… citing that it was based on old information.

Now, I’m reporting on a new study created in conjunction with the World Health Organization and published by the CDC from less than 60 days ago that once again proves that there is no evidence that wearing face masks in public prevents the spread of flu-like viruses.

I’m also going to show you why the Facebook fact-checking system cannot be trusted.

Link to the CDC published study. This study was conducted in preparation for the development of guidelines by the World Health Organization on the use of nonpharmaceutical interventions for pandemic influenza in nonmedical settings.

This study was supported by the World Health Organization.

Bottom line, wearing a face mask does not increase the risk of Covid 19,
so why take a chance?

Yup. China and other places with lower rate of infection and where local outbreaks are contained quickly, prove that masks work. Why is this still a point of discussion?

Because some people are prone to extrapolate nefarious government methods of population control from anything, including your supermarket lunch meat, which after all …is just so much baloney.

If I wanted to devise a conspiracy theory, I’d be more inclined to suggest that NOT wearing a mask is the government’s way (in the US anyway) to 1) reduce reliance on Chinese mask imports and 2) a clever way to cull out the over 60 crowd with pre-existing conditions to reduce the financial burden on health insurance providers, medicare and the social security system. 😉

Wearing a fashion mask or surgical mask doesn’t decrease the risk of spread, and wearing one for more than a couple hours at a time poses other health risks and risk of spread of other pathogens.

“In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018.” Reported estimates! Estimates are not hard data. Only 10 studies dating back to 1946! 7 of them were household studies. Two more were studies monitoring students living in a student hall. One studying pilgrims of the Hajj. None of the studies are relevant for rate of transmission in crowded spaces where you meet strangers that might be infectious. Students in a student hall – we can pretty… Read more »

JayTe, you keep confusing your personal biases with facts. Stop reporting on your biases and stick to facts, things that can be proven, and always check your sources. You do none of that. Total failure as a poster [sorry, can’t call you journalist, because you do not do the minimum of what is expected of one]. You are just like the MSM, just adding your personal flavor to the discussion. Things we don’t need more of.

VIRUS STUPIDITY — ROOT CAUSE

Cost of U.S. medical industry each year exceeds $4 trillion, over 20% of GDP, a full 300% more than the military budget.
And so, as our for-profit butcher medicine is 99% of the root cause for the virus plague, to hide the fact paid actor Trump has been ordered to fool the public into thinking that stupid government, stupid politicians and not the super intelligent rich are guilty for the plague.

And so, don’t be stupid like the maddening crowd majority, wear a mask and eat a healthy 10% fat diet. In short, put nothing in your grocery cart that is more than 10% fat.

Facebook fact-checkers agreed are partisan pederasts but if you’re a carrier and cough or sneeze in public, a mask will certainly reduce your viral effluent.

A two year old could figure that one out.
