A report by the Centre for Social Justice says increasing number of children in Britain are growing up with barely any male influence in their lives thanks to the increase in single parent families and the lack of male teachers in primary schools. In some areas fatherlessness has reached such high levels that they are virtual “men deserts”, it adds.
