How sad it is that European countries lost their sovereignty when they joined the EU gang! They should all Eurexit. The EU treats Russia as though it were the enemy and basically cuts off its nose to spite its face, in fact, cuts off all EU members’ noses to spite everyone’s faces. The part of Russia that lies west of the Urals covers over 40% of Europe’s land area (from a geographical perspective, mistakenly called a “continent”), so why gang up on 2/5ths of itself? EU’s just compensating for letting the US tell it to F_Off during Maidan, when the EU could have solved the entire thing peacefully if they’d had a backbone. Only way out is to delude themselves into blaming Russia instead of themselves.
Such spineless organizations are of no real consequence, and deserve to be ignored.
Same thing with Yugoslavia’s breakup and the EU-brokered Lisbon accord in ’92 that the US quickly threw in the trash. Ask any EU apparatchik to stand up and you can see Washington’s tread marks on their back. Such a disgrace they are to humanity.

One wonders what structures specifi ally have been mourned by Lavrov….so what happens to PACE now? Obviously the Baltics incl Poland are now under more direct Nato subordination…Poland seems to be acting more directly under USA. Clearly EU has no influence over Germany and France re Minsk agreements to prevent war in Donbas. …and seems completely disinterested in anything else but getting Ukraine Georgia etc eu wannabee’s in membership…and accepting Natos ever increasing militaristic designs in Romania etc directly against Russia.
And then there are all the other militaristic designs of the US: Venezuela, Iran, Nicaragua, Syria, China, Taiwan, North Korea….and it still has a big mess in Afghanistan and it refuses to leave Iraq even though Iraqis want them to leave. How thinly can it spread itself? The US is increasingly looking as though it’s repeating the mistakes of a certain empire in the history books.
