Iran’s War of Nerves within Israel

Iran’s response to Israel’s murderous attack on Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran is excruciatingly late for the West. Despite the strong rhetoric of Iranian officials, Iran has never committed to its response to Israel on the timing and manner of that response. It was the Western media that intensified the already existing climate of tension and it is they who generally maintain it in their attempt to assist the organized US-Israeli plan of regional escalation to get Israel out of the “quicksand” of Gaza. But without realizing it, the Western media are falling into the trap they tried to set for Tehran and the Palestinian Alliance in general. Iran is turning the tide by investing in the psychology, deception and second-rate surprise of the Israelis and Americans.

The mark of the intentions of Iran and the Palestinian Alliance in this crisis has been given by three officials. The head of the Revolutionary Guards Hossein Salami emphasized that the response of Iran and the Palestinian Alliance will be given in time and in a manner unsuspected by Israel and the US. Iran’s Foreign Minister spoke of a proportional strike by Iran and Hezbollah Secretary Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah highlighted the Israelis’ uncertainty about the impending strike against them as part of their punishment.

The above statements make the hit clear. In time it might take place today, now, maybe tomorrow, in a week or in a month. The way from Iran will be proportional while from Hezbollah it might be proportional.

In this way in the field of psychology, Iran and the Palestinian Alliance are trying to collapse the already declining morale of the Israelis from the deadlocked ten-month war in the Gaza Strip. The discontent and psychological fatigue in the ranks of Israeli society and the military is evident.
A key element of war is deceiving the enemy. The Americans rushed in record time to deploy air forces from Crete and Cyprus to the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean to support the Israelis. But how long will they be able to stay in these positions? Their stay is costly financially and destructive psychologically, as long as the attack against Israel is delayed.

Consequence of the psychological war and the deception of Iran in Israel and the USA is the most basic element of the strategy, the creation of conditions of surprise, in this case in the second year. The goal of Iran’s deterrence policy is to remove the early deployment of US air forces through psychological fatigue and deception as to whether a strike is imminent. If no new provocative Israeli strike occurs in the meantime, it is more likely that the Iranian strike against Israel will take place when the Americans withdraw their additional forces from the region.

After all, revenge is a dish that is most often eaten cold.
