The British singer Morrissey is making news, but none of it is music related. Recently, during an interview with German publication Der Spiegel, the British iconic singer slammed German Chancellor Angela Merkel over her open border policy.
Morrissey told Der Spiegel…
“I want Germany to be German. I want France to be French.
“If you try to make everything multicultural, you will not have any culture in the end.”
“All European countries have fought for their identity for many, many years.”
“And now they just throw it away. I think that’s sad.”
Now Morrissey is saying he would kill POTUS Trump “for the safety of humanity.” How courageous of Morrissey, virtue signaling his bravery for the good of “humanity.”

The outspoken former frontman for The Smiths answered affirmatively during a recent interview with German magazine Der Spiegel in response to a hypothetical question about being able to kill Mr. Trump with the push of a button.
“If there was a button here and if you pressed on it, Trump would die dead [sic]– would you push it or not?” Der Spiegel asked Morrissey.
“I would, for the safety of humanity. It has nothing to do with my personal opinion of his face or his family, but in the interest of humanity I would push,” the singer responded.
Morrissey’s response to the magazine’s hypothetical question about killing the president was one of a handful of remarks published by Der Spiegel conveying his thoughts on the 45th president of the United States.
Morrissey further said…
“Trump has received so much attention, especially when compared to other candidates — Bernie Sanders, for example. Although the media said he would not win, every day, all the headlines: Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump!”
Kill Trump over hypotheticals…where was Morrissey when Obama was arming ISIS in Syria and selling cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia to bomb Yemen.
Where was Morrissey when Hillary Clinton was cackling about murdering Gaddafi, and plunging Libya into complete chaos…while murdering a US Ambassador in the process.

To be fair, Morrissey was not asked about his thoughts wrt Clinton or Obama.
And he is correct in thinking that multi-culti needs to go the way of the dinosaurs.
But as to his other thoughts, he seems implicitly to be supporting Sanders, who in my opinion ought to be put in a bucket with fries and eaten by pigs.
But that picture of him reminds one of the old saying that one ought to grow old gracefully, rather than grotesquely.
Even I have given up my platform heels and multicoloured hairstyles.
