If you listen to mainstream American media, all you will hear on race issues is the story of white oppressors and black victims, the worst oppressors being the police and the biggest victims being the criminal underclass. The talking heads never tire of parroting this mantra, especially the black ones like Don Lemon, Joy Reid and Tiffany Cross.
The cause of this dysfunction is something called racism. And more racism. And more racism. Colin Flaherty calls this the white people suck narrative, and again, if you listen only to the mainstream media, it is very easy to believe the vast majority of American blacks are of the same opinion.
If though you wander slightly off the beaten track, you will realise that ordinary working class and middle class blacks have no time for urban thug culture and are just as concerned as whites with the way the nation is headed.
There are a number of conservative black YouTubers who expose the media lies and narratives, some of them with very large followings, but if there is one black pundit who hits the nail right on the head, it is AK Nation.
As well as producing two or more fact-filled videos a day, he holds twice weekly hangouts on a dedicated channel. Last Friday saw a large turnout for a marathon four hour discussion involving overwhelmingly men, but men from all backgrounds – Sun People, Glacier Gliders (whites), and Hombritos.
AK’s ad hoc discussion panel may disagree on the minutiae, but there is an overwhelming consensus about the true nature of the problems facing black America, problems that have nothing to do with so-called racism. Want proof? Take a gander at the National Gun Memorial, in particular the page for Illinois, which includes Chicago. Blacks make up less than 14% of the population of Illinois yet make up the overwhelming majority of gun fatalities.

I watch and I’m subscribed to AK Nation on YouTube, he tells it like it is. I’m black and I agree with him just about all the time.
