If Aslin says he was led astray by the media (CNN and co.) but he had been fighting in the Ukrainian army (I wonder exactly where) for a couple of years, that doesn’t add up. Either he’s massively dense and is only focused on how much money he can make or he’s an outright liar.
I’d bank on the later. Nobody is that dense that they’d pick up a gun willy nilly without an inkling as to why. His execution would send a message to any others that this is what you get for playing life and death games thinking there are no consequences. The bullets don’t fly in only one direction.
They are both dense as well as liars, hence the miserable situation they find themselves in.
As for Mz. Truss’ comments, has she forgotten the reprehensible way her government has treated Julian Assange, an Australian national? How dare she point fingers at others!
