Eliza Bleu And The Sex Trafficking Narrative

YouTuber and independent media host Tim Pool has invited a wide range of guests onto his programme from Posie Parker to Kash Patel, from Sean Spicer to Kanye West. That latter nearly caused him trouble, but a later guest has generated a lot of blowback. That guest is a woman who goes by the name Eliza Bleu and styles herself an advocate for sex trafficking victims. Tim Pool isn’t the only popular YouTuber she has duped in recent weeks; her other victims include Viva & Barnes, Zuby, The Epoch Times, and Elon Musk.

Beau Davidson of The Epoch Times interviewed Bleu at FreedomFest 2022  which was held in Las Vegas. She told him that she was then 41 and was trafficked from the age of 15. She has been repeating this story with variations in recent weeks, until she told one interviewer she was trafficked on Twitter. How? he asked. Her answer was surprising, someone had used her photographs without her permission, had been using them to advertise or sell sexual services. Or maybe other services.

The practice of using a fake on-line profile is known as catfishing, and it is a world away from trafficking. Whether that, her appearance with Tim Pool or something else was the catalyst, many YouTubers stopped taking her at face value and started researching her claims. The Daily Beast has done some in-depth investigating, and if its findings are even half correct, Eliza is toast.

It remains to be seen what if any relationship Bleu has with Elon Musk, but a number of people have been censored on Twitter or even lost their accounts, apparently on her say so.

The phrase Eliza Bleu first appeared in NewsBank on July 20, 2017, but this was a shop called Eliza Bleu Boutique which opened in South Carolina the previous year and appears to have no connection with the lady. It is now no longer extant and its domain is currently for sale. It wasn’t until November last year that she attracted the attention of the mainstream media when the Washington Post alluded to her as a human trafficking survivor. The word survivor is used frequently and casually by the sexual grievance industry to refer to any woman who has had an undesirable sexual encounter, even if it is nothing worse than being groped by a drunk on the dance floor. So what is a trafficking survivor?

Human trafficking is a real thing and is something currently being fostered by the Biden Administration as part of an overt plot to transform if not to destroy America. That is only a “conspiracy theory” when Republicans say it, but that is beyond the scope of this article. Sex trafficking specifically is one of the narratives of prostitution. The other three are the fallen woman, prostitution is rape, and sex work is real work.

You can read a bit about all four of them here, suffice it to say that the trafficking narrative was formulated by the anti-prostitution industry, which is an unholy alliance between second (and now third) wave feminism, the religious right, and police officers who would rather harass prostitutes and their clients than chase real criminals who might have guns and shoot back.

The anti-sex trafficking industry is fond of making outrageous claims about vast numbers of underage girls being sexually abused including in the United States. There is of course a serious problem of young girls being targeted by sexual predators. In Britain, the grooming gangs did this on an industrial scale for years, and the authorities turned a blind eye to it, but some of the claims made by activists border on the insane.

That cannot be said of Eliza Bleu, but what can be said is that she was not “trafficked” from the age of 15. She grew up the daughter of a wealthy Republican, and any sexual encounters she had in her younger days were consensual, including with her then husband. Take a gander at these photographs and decide for yourself how much credibility her trafficking claims have.

It would be tiresome to pick apart all the lies Bleu has told when The Daily Beast and others have already done so, but a word should be said in her defence. There is video of her apparently advocating for children to have sex with adults, at least that is how it is being interpreted. In reality, what she is espousing is the strict Libertarian position on the age of consent, namely that there should not be one but when a young person believes he or she is old enough to engage in sex, that individual should be able to petition a private court for the right to do so.

This was the position of Chris Tame, Britain’s leading Libertarian who died in 2006. Most Libertarian ideas warrant serious consideration but this one is absolutely ludicrous. The age of consent is rightly set at an arbitrary age supplemented in certain US states with Romeo & Juliet laws. Eliza Bleu is no apologist for paedophilia; she is simply a publicity seeking grifter who has conned some of the biggest names in independent media.

What I find amazing is the amount of social media “drama” this has garnered. Bleu, if anything, is nothing less than an opportunistic grifter.
