The Europeans do not “need America”. They need to escape from America.
Did they really think “the Ukraine” would defeat Russia? La La Land must be over populated.
The Russians marching to the West could be interpreted as liberating Europe from American Colonial Status.
There are “Good Solutions”. Unfortunately, it would take an “Intelligent Species” to implement them, which is problematic here on the Third Rock from the Sun.
I think Europe just needs to concede that it wanted the US to bog itself down in Ukraine and that Trump has now made that objective impossible. A Harris admin probably would’ve gone alone.
At this point, Europe needs to make a fundamental choice: 1/ Renew itself through dramatic governance changes or 2/ Break with the US and become a more integral part of the Russian/Chinese sphere of influence.
My guess is that Europe is going to auction itself off to the highest bidder.
I doubt if Europe is that intelligent. Out of cowardice and ideology it will choose the path that loses it the most.
