Putin may be toast, but that’s not to say not burnt toast. With the addition of clarified butter from India and damson jam or marmalade from Afghanistan, Putin will be palatable to the whole world. I hear that there are murmurings about the Lindsey Graham ‘well-spent’ money being paid back to the US when the war is over (with interest presumably). Whatever is Zelensky going to do? They’ve sold half the weapons on the black market, half the Ukraine government has bought holiday homes/gold rollers/recreational drugs and God knows what else. There isn’t a hope in hell of paying that money back. I wonder where international law stands if Ukraine just sells itself, in total, to the USA instead? Like the Russians sold Alaska to the USA?
