The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I look forward to reports on cases brought under this law. Then we’ll see how it is implemented.

Any law that restricts speech is self evidently oppressive. In effect it is one step removed from criminalizing thought and will lead to self censorship of thinking. It is continuing the revolution in morals and ethics. The Bible is once again correct when the Word of God tells us that in the last days Good will be called Evil, and Evil, Good. So we know the end is not far off.

A law like this is very strange. It is anti-free-speech in presumably English and possibly Gaelic as well, but what about the other 170 languages spoken in Scotland today? Does it only apply to English and Gaelic? An overheard conversation in English among a group of people in a private home that was reported and deemed to be hate speech could be criminalised, but how about if it were in one of these foreign languages?
