It’s really simple. They are setting the banks up for the biggest crash in the financial history of the world. When – not if – the next Archegos happens, the banks won’t have any liquidity to paper over it because it’s all reverse-repo’ed at the Fed. And the dogshit treasuries they got for it won’t help’em.
