OT..Hope everyone saw this comment from Putin Aug 8: “The European Union has completely lost its political and economic sovereignty.” Prof. Sachs mentioned a term “Strategic Autonomy” today which likely will be important for analysts to consider, first referenced Dec. ’13 right before the Maidan coup. Shoulda mentioned, the EU-SA was mentioned by Prof. Sachs as the evidence (he didn’t go into detail even tho Glenn inquired) that EU countries are fully involved in the war against RF since 2013 and have full agency ie. DE brought this all on by themselves, no hidden hand, no arm twisting, manipulations, machinations, probably couldn’t wait to destroy their economy I suppose. Other than EU-SA the other point he made was that Merkel said they were stalling for time with Minsk I/II. That never held weight with me, numerous reasons, none provable. Outstanding as usual. I was incredulous to learn about Geran drones being used to land mine logistical routes from the air. The emphasis on the complete reversal in numbers in land force strength from 2022 to 2025 is a critical point to understand, along with the impending doom for Ukraine in losing the Slaviansk-Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka-Pokrovsk salient as the industrial-urban center of Donbass. The Duran has emphasized the critical importance of the latter for a long time. Now we see how correct Alexander Mercouris has been on the major points since the war’s beginning.
