The anti-Russian propaganda has been astonishing in the West – particularly in the US. I have read delusional stuff on Twitter from Americans who have been force-fed tales of Russian war crimes, Putin’s ill-health, apparent anti-Putin demonstrations in Moscow.etc. I have read articles by supposedly distinguished historians who pointedly ignore the provocationsby Ukraine from 2014 onwards, and the front page of The Telegraph on Saturday saying “Defeated Russia still a threat to Britain” and that “Russia will be vindictive if it loses the Ukraine war”. Pure speculation and hate mongering.
Indeed the anti-Russian propaganda is as illogical as it is venomous. For years we’ve been told the apparently unrivalled Russian psyop division is responsible for an endless series of overseas disinfo campaigns, yet for the entirety of the Ukrainian conflict it seems the Russian PR machine gave up it’s place as Master of Spin and Disinformation, being criticised daily by essentially everyone for it’s seemingly woeful management of war-time PR.
Everything the west says is a lie, especially when they say it’s the truth.
