Inevitably any industrial system that is not really needed will degrade and decay as time goes by. The more so in the case of the US MIC, which since 1945 has been managed essentially to maximise profit rather than effectiveness. There was no need to aim for increased effectiveness, as the USA never attacked any country whose weapons were as powerful as its own. The long series of lost wars were due to other causes.
Anyone who thinks that the USA can fight China without getting squashed flat is high on some kind of powerful drug. The previous war between the two, in Korea, came as close as possible to a smashing US defeat, and since then China’s armed forces have got steadily more powerful.
The more Iranians are killed, the more heavily Iran is invested in winning the war.
The Israelis are actually mad by any reasonable definition. That is, they adhere to an ideology that deems all Gentiles to be essentially subhuman and therefore without human rights. They also seem to believe that, no matter what the current situation, they are certain to win because God.
Neither of those beliefs is consonant with normal Western ideas of sanity.
C’mon…Yanbu can be easily knocked out…port and refinery…plus the 1 200 km pipeling has 9 above-ground pumping stations…plus the oil comes from the Ghabar oilfield and Abqaiq processing hubs…each and all of these facilities is exquisitely vulnerable with short to medium missiles.
Was it that Women “sailors” kept putting their tampons and self abortions into the toilets of the USS Gerald Ford causing the stoppage?
