The saddest thing I have seen today is a photograph of Trump watching the Chinese parade, seemingly by himself (although obviously there was a photographer there) and staring at the screen when Xi, Putin and Kim walked down the steps together. It was heartbreaking. You could see from his body language and facial expression that he really wanted to play with the big boys and he wanted to have a big, impressive army/navy/airforce and lots of awesome weaponry like Xi. The best part was when Mr Trump complained that Messrs Kim, Putin, and Xi were “conspiring” against him.
Actually what they were doing was even worse – they were completely ignoring him.

I think Mr Trump’s feeling was that it was wrong for the 3 heads of state to discuss anything in the absence of The Chairman, i.e. Mr Trump.
Messrs Trump and Graham seem very ready to throw huge heavy spanners into the delicate mechanism of the “free market”, which they are so ready to praise and boast about.
The global economy can be used to improve everyone’s prosperity, or it can be used as a weapon by one tiny selfish clique.
Not both.
There is a single word that sums up everything that is wrong about their delusive world view.
Entitlement.
