On November 29, the trial of accused Jeffrey Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell commenced in the Manhattan Federal Court. The trial was projected to last six weeks, but prosecutors rested earlier than originally expected. The fourth and final accuser in the sex-abuse trial took the stand last Friday to testify against Maxwell. The prosecution also called a series of witnesses to corroborate earlier testimony, particularly pertaining to longtime Epstein pilot who detailed dozens of plane rides with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

If convicted, Maxwell could face up to 70 years in prison.

This is not the first time legal action was brought against Maxwell. Earlier this year, a woman under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” filed a lawsuit last year in which she accused Maxwell of grooming her to be sexually abused by Epstein, a case which Doe that dropped, opting to join a settlement instead that offered a victims’ compensation fund founded by Epstein’s estate. In a bizarre, arguably vindictive response, Maxwell’s lawyer Laura Menninger found a loophole which permits “the prevailing party” to be reimbursed for costs, other than legal fees, when a case is dismissed on one’s decision. That reimbursement amounted to a meager $13.70.

Robert Glassman, an attorney for Doe, stated to The Hill, “With all due respect to judge and the law, the idea of our client having to pay Ms. Maxwell anything is very disturbing.”

Glassman also remarked to the Daily News, “It wasn’t enough for Ms. Maxwell to abuse young women. Now, despite being in jail for that abuse, she is going after one of her victims for $13.70 from behind bars. It’s crazy,”

The judge in that case was John G. Koeltl, appointed by Bill Clinton in 1994 as the U.S. District Court in Manhattan. The former president was named as a guest aboard Epstein’s private plane, according to his former pilot’s testimony. In 2014, Koeltl also dismissed a federal lawsuit accusing Yeshiva University of covering up the sexual abuse of dozens of high school students committed by two rabbis and an alumnus during the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. The judge cited that “too many years” had passed since the abuse.

Another lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein’s estate claimed that both he and Ghislaine Maxwell intimidated one of their victims by repeatedly emphasizing their enormous influence over the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security. This was possibly no empty threat. As early as 2008, both the DOJ and FBI were pursuing the criminal case against Epstein and by the time Epstein signed his plea deal, both departments had not interviewed all of his victims. The plea deal was later described as a “sweetheart deal” due to its comparative leniency negotiated by Alan Dershowitz and agreed upon by Alexander Acosta, then U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. As a result, Epstein was granted immunity from all potential federal criminal liability relating to his sex-trafficking activities prior to 2007 by pleading guilty to a state prostitution charge. Additionally, the FBI probe to uncover more victims and their powerful abusers partaking in Epstein’s crimes was capped.

When Acosta later faced backlash for this lenient plea, the former U.S. Secretary of Labor who resigned from his post in July 2019, explained he was told that Epstein “belonged to intelligence” and was instructed to “leave it alone” as it was “above his pay grade.” It seems both Maxwell and Epstein certainly had formidable pull when it came to influential connections and swaying legal results in their favor. The ongoing criminal case against Maxwell will decide whether this inclination continues.

The question remains what intelligence Epstein belonged to exactly and how two proclaimed ‘socialites’ garnered these powerful connections. The answer lies in who Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, was.

Suspected spy, fraudster, British media proprietor, and former Member of Parliament, it is understated the means by which the late Maxwell wielded all of these occupations to promote the cause of Zionism and the international holding the state of Israel exerts through the United States and United Kingdom.

Born Ján Ludvík Hyman Binyamin Hoch in June 1923 to an impoverished Orthodox Jewish family, he escaped from the Nazi occupation of his home country, Czechoslovakia and joined the Czechoslovak Army in exile during World War II before transferring to the Pioneer Corps and North Staffordshire Regiment in 1943 after his open protest of the Czechoslovak Army leadership. During the war, he changed his name for the fifth and last time to Ian Robert Maxwell and rose from the rank of private to captain by 1945. When the war ended, Maxwell served as a newspaper censor for the British Foreign Office in Allied-occupied, war-ravaged Berlin over the next two years.

Through forming connections with Allied occupation authorities, Maxwell launched his business ventures by becoming the British and US distributor for Springer Verlag, the world’s largest publisher of scientific books and journals at the time. In 1951, he purchased the minor textbook publisher Pergamon Press Limited (PPL) from Springer Verlag, swiftly building Pergamon into a major lucrative publishing house due to the scarce competition it faced.

“It’s no use trying to compete with me, because I publish the authoritative journal in each field. If you’re building a chemical plant and you don’t know about the latest development in that area, the mistake could cost you £10 million. So people will pay £1,000 [in subscription fees],” Maxwell once bragged.

Maxwell was barely 40 years old when he became a multimillionaire through his first significant enterprise. In liberal democracies, the world of wealthy business has proved in the last four decades alone the power of large-scale involvement and merging with the reins of the political system and constricting its directional capacities. Robert Maxwell was a prime example. Between 1964 and 1970, he was elected as Member of Parliament for Buckingham, representing the Labour Party. His FBI file revealed that Maxwell had aspirations to become prime minister and disclosed to an informant over drinks in his New York apartment in 1956 that his business ventures were just a means to accomplishing his ambitions. Unlike his capitalist endeavors though, his political career was not particularly monumental or distinguished. Instead, his larger-than-life aspiration would take him down a more nefarious and controversial path in the post-war international scene.

Over the course of two decades following the end of World War II, the FBI long suspected Maxwell was conducting espionage for the Soviet Union. During the search for his relatives in Soviet-occupied Czechoslovakia, Maxwell learned his parents had perished in Nazi concentration camps. Despite the personal tragedy, his relationship with Soviet authorities in the NKVD emissaries would prove a vital necessity for future intelligence. Beginning in the late 1940s, Maxwell was in regular contact with Soviet leaders and the KGB, acquiring favored status in the USSR while taking frequent travels by way of the Iron Curtain. Released records of FBI inquiries disclose secret payments by the KGB to Maxwell for the purpose of publishing 50,000 copies of biographies detailing communist leaders in a rather positive leaning.

During the mid-1950s, Maxwell embarked on both translating and publishing the work of Soviet scientists which he then sold to libraries and research institutions throughout the west, garnering exclusive rights by the Soviets and racking millions in revenue. Ironically, it was MI6 that granted Maxwell the money to establish himself in publishing and while simultaneously bankrolling him as they assumed opportunities would arise to attain intelligence about Soviet scientific work. British intelligence agreed to have Maxwell uphold his end of the bargain by passing on information and assisting MI6 contact as well as recruiting scientists.

Even though the FBI concluded there was no evidence the businessman participated in ‘any acts of espionage’ following extensive inquiries by direction of J. Edgar Hoover, scientists still maintained Maxwell was working as a spy.

A classic ‘rags to riches’ story could not be better demonstrated by a man who had become the world’s largest, most successful publisher of scientific journals in the 1950s. However, his propensity for fighting “low and dirty” would challenge his seemingly untouchable status in the later years of his life.

In October 1969, he was dropped from the board of Pergamon Press after it was discovered by his new business partner Saul Steinberg—America’s youngest self-made multimillionaire—that Maxwell was falsely inflating his profits through various smoke and mirror accounting practices. Specifically according to the Sunday Times, huge sales of encyclopedias were claimed whose purchasers turned out to be other Maxwell companies. A Department of Trade and Industry inquiry concluded upon investigation that Maxwell was “not… a person who can be relied on to exercise proper stewardship of a publicly quoted company. Known as the “Bouncing Czech,” Maxwell nevertheless reacquired Pergamon years later and more.

By the 1980s, Maxwell constructed a major international business empire, purchasing ownership of the New York Daily News, The Daily Mirror and The People newspapers in Britain, and Macmillan, all in addition to a wide range of European firms and spanning 125 countries in total. While his status as British media mogul attained new heights previously perceived as insurmountable, his arguably more influential position was working for Mossad to help ensure Israel’s regional and global dominance. These active contributions to the Jewish state extend back to the 1948 Arab-Israeli War where the young Maxwell struck deals with Czech communists so that Israel was provided with arms to fight the Arabs.

According to Gideon’s Spies: The Secret History of the Mossad, author Gordon Thomas detailed how Israeli intelligence officer Rafi Eitan connected with Robert Maxwell to globally market a software program known as PROMIS. In one instance, Maxwell flew to Moscow under the guise of interviewing Mikhail Gorbachev while in reality, was seeking to sell the software to the KGB. Through its secret trapdoor microchip, PROMIS gave Israel unique access to Soviet military intelligence. This made Mossad one of the best-informed services on Russian intentions.

Another serving member of the Israeli intelligence community noted in the book, “Maxwell was Mossad’s high-level Mr. Fixit. He opened the doors to the highest offices. The power of his newspapers means that presidents and prime ministers were ready to receive him. Because of who he was, they spoke to him as if he was a de facto statesman, never realizing where the information would end up… Maxwell knew how to ask questions. He had received no training from us, but he would have been given guidelines of areas to probe.”

Maxwell’s value as an asset to Israel therefore could not be understated as his operative functions were clear. He had “become a thief for Mossad,” and hence was indispensible the more he plundered on their behalf, according to Thomas. Or so he thought. Maxwell’s thieving status was exercised through secretly pilfering hundreds of millions of pounds from the pension funds of his employees both to prop up his empire and support Mossad. A skilled swindler, he diverted hundreds of thousands at a time into a special account which Mossad maintained at the Bank of Israel in Tel Aviv.

According to Victor Ostrovsky, a Canadian-born Israeli who served as a Mossad case officer from 1984 to 1986 these diverted funds were then used by Mossad to finance operations in Europe. These allegations by Ostrovsky enraged the entire Israeli intelligence community when he published two personal books—By Way of Deception (the first half of the old motto of Mossad) and The Other Side of Deception.

Further corroborating the account of espionage was the book Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales, written by a former Israeli intelligence officer who ran the “Robert Maxwell” operation. In the book, Ben-Menashe, also an alleged “handler” of Robert Maxwell, told the authors that Jeffrey Epstein ran a “complex intelligence operation” at the behest of Mossad. Believing that Epstein planned to marry his daughter, the media mogul introduced both Epstein and Ghislaine to Ben-Menashe’s Mossad circle.

“Maxwell sort of started liking him, and my theory is that Maxwell felt that the guy is going for his daughter. He felt that he could bless him with some work and help him out in a like paternal [way].”

The co-authors of the book also detail in sourced writing the extent of Epstein as an Israeli agent according to Ben-Menashe, acting covertly and using underage girls to ensnare politicians and other powerful figures into giving information to Israel.

Shortly before Maxwell’s death, Ari Ben-Menashe, former employee of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate approached several news organizations in Britain and the United States, alleging that Maxwell and the Daily Mirror’s foreign editor, Nicholas Davies, were long-time agents for Mossad. Ben-Menashe further elaborated that in 1986 Maxwell informed the Israeli Embassy in London that Mordechai Vanunu blew the whistle on information about Israel’s illegal nuclear weapons program to The Sunday Times and the Daily Mirror, both owned by Maxwell at the time. In retaliation, Vanunu was lured into Italy using a female Mossad agent posing as a would-be girlfriend, where he was then illegally abducted and smuggled to Israel for a show trial and subsequently an eighteen-year prison sentence.

Behind the heavy-handed and bullying personality Maxwell displayed to his family and employees was a man desperately attempting to sustain his crumbling financial empire which had long facilitated his brash activities. Confidential reports from Israel showed that Maxwell was being pressured by his original Israeli investors to repay them the money that assisted Maxwell in acquiring the Mirror Group Newspapers, the publisher of six British newspapers. The British media and Parliament were launching their investigation of him. In addition to bombshell revelations in Seymour Hersh’s book identifying Maxwell’s links to Mossad and his fall from favor by Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir who had a reputation for killing Mossad’s enemies, the end of the bombastic tycoon was closing in.

In November 1991, Maxwell’s body was discovered floating in the Atlantic after an apparent fall from his luxury yacht, Lady Ghislaine while cruising off the Canary Islands. While the circumstances of his death are shrouded in suspicion, the weight of his contributions to Zionism was certainly not; his funeral service in Jerusalem’s Hall of the People was attended by Israeli politicians led by Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir and President Chaim Herzog as well as former and serving heads of Mossad with Shamir declaring that Maxwell “has done more for Israel than can today be said.”

With the untimely death of the thieving fraudster, the mission to assist in Israel’s coercion and clandestine activities abroad was passed down to his children through blackmail rings and Silicon Valley tech firms. Many hold the logical notion that the sins of the father should never be used against his children but in the case of the Maxwell family, it has become an inheritance so that the American political system can be subverted, bought off, and manipulated to do the bidding of a foreign state at our own expense, particularly that of Epstein’s and Maxwell’s many victims.

Seems like Epstien and Maxwell were working both the Americans and the Israellis which is nice work if you can get it.
The question is will Ghislaine be thrown under a bus for life or 6′ under like her b/f and her Father.
Or will she walk?
Because if she doesnt walk and isnt bumped off then maybe logically she doesnt know anything?
And how come the immunity which Epstien was given before, which supposedly covered her and ” Royalty”. How come this has not been invoked?
I think she might walk, the case seems mostly she said she said.

It will be interesting to see if the Feds abandon her. They’ve certainly made sure that her trial is as unrevealing as possible.
