Having 2 helicopter license I know that 98% of non-war helicopter accidents are due to pilot errors. If you ask people who have no any experiences of how copters work, they will tell you helicopter will come down like a stone if engine stops on fly, but the truth that you can perform the cleanest landing in most cases than when engine is running.
