I think most British voters went to the polls in 2024 with just one intention: to grind the Conservative Party so far into the dust that it would never recover.
The result was to put Labour, which is even worse, into power. Now voters want to crush Labour too, but without removing their heels from the Conservative party’s head.
It’s not so much a matter of party politics as wanting to get RID of party politics. To go back to relatively honest, disinterested politicians who have the public interest at heart.
