Alex, please don’t be unfair towards Gen. Zaluzhny. It was through The Duran in 2022-2023 that I learned how much this general stood up to NATO and President Zelenskiy, by attempting to retreat and re-deploy his soldiers, instead of prolonging unwinnable situations. His military experience was evidently greater than Zelenskiy’s, and this would explain his good reputation among the Ukrainian army. I would argue that it would not be wise to underestimate his leadership nor his desire to do what is right for Ukraine and its citizens.
