I wrote here before that Putin secretly supports Biden, now he admit it openly. Putin does not want peace with America, he wants confrontation that America loses.
The war in the Ukraine has certainly allowed Russia to solve the Ukrainian problem in a definitive way.
What about a full blown American attack on Iran? Is Russia prepared to deal with that?
Putin realises the only way Russia is safe from the US/UK is if its military power is so great that, just as the British Empire had to give way to the US after WW2, the US has to now cease its hostile attitude towards Russia. Russia must deserve, and then demand, the US’s respect.
Also, how to ensure Biden’s defeat? Russia lavishes it with praise.
