You may be right Alexander that the U.S. Congress will cave and pass a bill for more Ukraine war funding. But any further spending must absolutely be approved by the Republican majority House before any further money can be spent. No matter how much the Senate wants it to happen or Biden promises to Europe that it will happen. There is no way for the Senate and Biden to override a House that lacks the votes for -any- spending bill to pass. By dumping McCarthy, Gaetz has sharply reduced the odds that Ukraine funding will continue without interruption. That makes… Read more »

There were pictures this weekend of an estimated million people who had taken to the streets in Warsaw to protest against Polish involvement in the Ukraine war. However, the bonkers middle class in Britain, from where most of the ‘Slava Ukraine’ cult hail from, seem to feel that it’s part of their protest against Brexit and that only by supporting, financing and offering boots on the ground in this war can we worm our way back into the EU. It’s a bizarre cult and the leader, from afar, is Guy de Verhofstadt. This cult leader often bends the ear of… Read more »

The British are living on past glory. Thinking that they are still a formidable military power. The reality is that they are weak like Germany but refuse to face the facts. The U.S. military is likewise a shadow of its’ former self. In both cases, the poor fools think they are still fighting WW2. I always challenge these fake tough guys and armchair Generals. If you are such a bad-ass then pick up a rifle and go. This is no hooligan football clash, mate. The Russians have a modern army that will mow you down in short order. Talking to… Read more »

There is much talk of this ‘visceral’ hatred of Russians by the British. As a member of the wider community of English-speaking people, not necessarily from Britain itself, I would say that our sympathy for Russia’s position is pretty strongly felt. We see clearly how this situation developed, and are frankly dismayed at Britain’s swaggering behaviour. Please, Brits, take a look at yourselves – you are making a once-great Nation look ugly and ridiculous.

The former British Army officers like Kemp, along with Ben Wallace have a very arrogant, almost colonial attitude of superiority when discussing the Russian Army. Ignorant Brits follow the script, pumping themselves up as only the British can do. As if the U.K. is still fighting the ‘Battle of Britain’ in their Spitfires, while Stalin is leading a primitive Red Army. Fake tough guys. Out of touch with reality. They make a cartoon of this war in which half a million Ukrainians are already dead. The U.S. has weakling stooges like Sen. Lindsey Graham talking tough. I will pay Linsdey’s… Read more »

I never thought I would say it, but thank goodness that the UK Prime Minister is Rishi Sunak who has a less “British” attitude to Russia, and seems to be able to operate more on a “common sense” “ideology”.
