The on duty radio operator is recorded as giving a warning to his assigned contact person about sighted incoming aircraft, in large numbers, that were preliminarily identified as Japanese. He was told to disregard it.
As a humble British foreigner, I was shocked that Mr Carlson professes to be shocked at discovering that the “democracy” of the USA is purely decorative and fictional. It’s pretty clear to anyone open-minded that this has been the case ever since, at the very latest, 1810 or so. Many informed investigators believe it was the case before the writing of the Constitution, and, indeed, was the main motive for the American Revolution. Guess who, AGAIN
“Democracy” itself as a form of government in a nation is pure nonsense. Does anyone really think that the “masses” whose ideas are put there by pure proganda are capable of choosing “Good Leaders” on a consistent basis? Wealth and Power will rule and psychopaths who are agressive will push to the front of the line. Democracy itself is a Joke form of government.
Perhaps the size of the population and geographical area are important factors. Democracy has a descent chance of working well for a group small enough to be able to assess potential leaders by their reputations built primarily on interpersonal communication. Once mass communication intervenes, propaganda, unmodified by personal experiences, can more easily ensue.
Very well put. So Democracy is not directly scalable if you try to go from small populations and areas (interpersonal communication and reputation) to large ones (mass communication and propaganda) without serious modifications.
Here is a suggested modification: You only get to make a choice of someone who you personally know and interact with.

“The Tribe” is an evolutionary development as discussed by Kevin MacDonald, an Evolutionary Psychologist. It is obvious that jarno’s believes his primary function in life is to denigrate Jewish people. You, penrose are answering his post. A post with silly references to oswald having known some Jews and a supposed quote by a man who was a severe alcoholic and diagnosed as psychotic at the time he supposedly made those statements. I happen to be fond of grizzly bears, so I would hope to avoid these situations, but if someone else went out there equipped with a rifle and got into a “grizzly confrontation” and ended up shooting the bear to save their life, we probably would not put them on trial for murder, or even involuntary manslaughter. We even accept self defense if humans are involved. If the protagonists are human, and involve different cultural, ethnic, racial, or religious groups, then I prefer to promote a policy of not meddling.
