Alex, I have this nagging suspicion that President Trump is deliberately misrepresenting Russia’s war losses, so that, once he meets President Putin and “learns” the truth about Ukraïne’s actual situation, he will be able to declare that President Zelenskiy had been lying all along, and then use that reason to justify pulling the US out of the war altogether.
