There was never a “narrative.” It was all a big fat lie right from the beginning. Which tells us the intentions and objectives of the war have always been different from what was stated. The truth appears to have been an effort to 1/ divide Germany and Europe from Russia and 2/ inflict cost/damage on Russia’s economy. The lies (‘narrative as you are fond of calling it), are based on studious ingnoring the factual moral causes leading to the war. The real pont is, not ensuing lies, but that the west cannot employ a call up of (NATO) nations’ men and their economies to war, without addressing the moral cause…and that would at this time have failed, on provoking a real look involving ordinary folk not media and government as mouthpieces; but peoples’ representatives obliged and seen to transparently discuss causes, as is their duty.
